There are options for hemmed and banded legs, long and short legs, banded and elastic waists, and an optional fly. One of the features of this pattern is that there is no seam to the rear of the boxers meaning they are particularly comfortable to wear. The pattern is suitable for enthusiastic beginners. An overlocker/serger will create a neater, more professional finish, however, instructions are included for using a regular sewing machine.
